Rev. Geoffrey A. BlackGeoffrey Black

Geoffrey Black - The Rev. Geoffrey A. Black was elected General Minister and President of the United Church of Christ in June 2009. Prior to that, he served as Conference Minister of the UCC's New York Conference for nine years beginning in 2000. Geoffrey Black previously served as a Minister for Church Life and Leadership with the then-Office for Church Life and Leadership (currently Parish Life and Leadership), a national agency of the United Church of Christ housed at the UCC's national offices in Cleveland, Ohio.

Hojung ChangHojung Chang

Hojung Chang - Hojung Chang is a missionary who was raised in a Presbyterian church in South Korea. He was ordained in 1988 and sent by Kyung-Ki Presbytery, Presbyterian Church in the Republic of Korea, which oversees an ecumenical partnership with the United Church of Christ, to the UCC's Connecticut Conference. Chang is a church founder and has experience as a missionary in East Asian countries. During his missionary work, he established several churches in different cultural settings while also training church developers. Chang established Korean churches in Connecticut in 1999 and currently serves Storrs Korean Church and First Korean UCC. He has experience in various Asian cultures and churches.

John DorhauerJohn Dorhauer

John Dorhauer - John serves as conference minister of the Southwest Conference of the United Church of Christ. Coming to the Southwest from the Midwest, he has fallen in love with the mountains and the desert. He served on staff of the Missouri Mid-South Conference for five years after having served two churches in Missouri, each for almost 8 years. He celebrated his 20th anniversary of ordination in June 2008, the same month he celebrated his 24th wedding anniversary.

Yvette FlunderYvette Flunder

Yvette Flunder - Rev. Yvette Flunder founded the City of Refuge Community Church UCC in 1991 in order to unite a gospel ministry with a social ministry. Preaching a message of action, the church has experienced steady numerical and spiritual growth and is now located in the south of Market area of San Francisco at 1025 Howard Street. A native San Franciscan, Rev. Flunder is a third-generation preacher with roots in the Church of God in Christ.

Jo Hudson is a spiritual leader, pastor, mentor, and community builder who serves as Senior Pastor of Cathedral of Hope United Church of Christ (UCC), the world's largest liberal Christian church with a primary outreach to lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgender people.

Rev. Dr. Hudson joined the Cathedral in August 2004, after seven years as pastor of Friends Congregational Church UCC in College Station, Texas. She was overwhelmingly elected to serve as the Senior Pastor of the Cathedral of Hope in February 2005, making the Cathedral of Hope UCC the largest church in the State of Texas, and one of the largest in the United States, to have a woman Senior Pastor.

A native Texan, Rev. Dr. Hudson received her PhD in Educational Administration from Texas A&M University in 1993 and graduated with honors from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in 1994. She was ordained into the United Church of Christ in 1997. Rev. Dr. Hudson is the former President of the South Central Conference of the UCC, served for ten years on the Board of Directors of the UCC Justice & Witness Ministry, has been elected to the UCC Pension Boards on which she will be seated in 2011, is a member of the Forum on Military Chaplaincy, and currently serves on the Board of Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri.

Ferrell Drum is president of Garland Insulating Ltd., a thermal building products provider and installer for the building trades with locations in Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston, Texas. He has a B.S. in Business from Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas. He has served on the Finance and Development Committee of the Board of Directors of Dallas Christian School, on the Board of Directors of Heartbeat, and as founder and director of both First National Bank of Rowlett and Centennial National Bank.

The Rev. Ruben Duran serves as Director for New Congregational Development in the Evangelical Outreach and Congregational Mission unit of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, headquartered in Chicago, IL. He is responsible for promoting the development of area strategies, local initiatives and emerging models for the multiplication of new communities of faith in the USA and the Caribbean.

Ruben is a native of Lima, Peru, South America. He was introduced to the Lutheran Church through the work of missionaries. He received a BA in Business Administration from the Escuela Nacional de Turismo, and worked as a Travel Agent prior to coming to the Lutheran Bible Institute of Seattle.

He served parishes in the Seattle, Washington and Los Angeles, California areas prior to becoming Associate to the Bishop and Mission Director for the Metropolitan Chicago Synod, ELCA.

He has also served as Associate Director for Latino Outreach in the former Division for Congregational Ministries, ELCA and Executive for Congregational Outreach Services in the former Division for Outreach, ELCA prior to his current position.

Ruben is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, California

Rev. Cameron TrimbleCameron Trimble

Cameron Trimble - Rev. Cameron Trimble is the Executive Director of the Center for Progressive Renewal. Before this position, Rev. Trimble served as the associate conference minister of the Southeast Conference and the National Advisor of Church Development to Local Church Ministries. Each setting has given her a unique perspective on the challenges of cultivating leaders equipped to meet the needs of the future of mainline Protestantism.
