David McCollough

Webmaster
David started his ministerial career with Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Church Music from Stetson University in Deland, FL and Southwestern Baptist Seminiary in Ft. Worth, TX.

He served United Methodist churches in Oklahoma City and Chattanooga for 7 years before coming out as a gay Christian and being removed from the United Methodist church. God smiled on him again in May of 1990 when he was hired as the first full-time Director of Celebration at the Cathedral of Hope in Dallas.

David worked with the music and worship staff and volunteers there for 9 years to produce powerful worship at two morning worship services of over 1400 worshippers each Sunday. During those 9 years the World Wide Web came along and he taught himself website design and programming and started 2 Internet companies in 1997. In October of 1999 Cathedral of Hope asked him to become full-time Webmaster, which he has done for the last nearly 12 years.

When not working for Cathedral of Hope David serves as Webmaster for Hope for Peace & Justice; The Center for Progressive Renewal; The Interfaith Peace Chapel; The Southeast Conference of the UCC and over 125 other small companies around the country.
