Being incarnational has always been central to what it means to be a church. Only as our world continues to venture deeper into a digital landscape, our churches must learn ways to navigate this brave new world. Social engagement is at the heart of the current state of the internet. From Twitter to Facebook to Instagram, what are these social media platforms and how can you use them in your ministry?
In this three week course Rev. Jim Keat will provide an overview of various social media platforms (specifically Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) as well as creative and intentional ways to incorporate them into your work and ministry. This course will utilize an online learning platform, weekly live video calls ( Thursday May 11, 18, 25 at 7:00 PM EDT), and various social media platforms for participation and engagement.
Course dates: May 8 - May 26
